Rolling Hills Farm L.L.C. is a small family owned farm nestled in the valley of Spruce Run Road, located in Newport, Virginia ONLY 15 MINS WEST FROM BLACKSBURG VA. The owners, Emerson and Andrea have many four-legged friends including horses, donkeys, goats, cattle, dogs, and cats.

All of our services come with top notch animal care from our owner and manager. Andrea has over 20 years of professional animal care and medical experience that will have you walking away from the barn with confidence, knowing that your horses are well cared for. She is also a trained Large Animal Emergency Rescue Technician (TLAER).

Horse Board

Rolling Hills Farm L.L.C offers stall board and field board. Our facilities include flat areas to work, a stream, as well as hills to build up those muscles. We have barrels and jumps available too. We have a fenced in grass ring, 2 large run-in sheds, 2 outside paddocks, multiple fields and a barn lot.

Stall board offers 10' x 10' stalls or 10' x 20' stalls. Twice daily cleaning, health checks, feeding (horse owner provides grain), turnout and blanketing.

All boarding options include: our own wonderful hay, tack room space and access to rodent proof feed storage and trailer parking.

Additional services for handling for vet or farrier, administering medications, medical wraps etc. are available as well.

Stall board:

10' x 10' : $400/mo.

10' x 20' : $500/mo.

Field board full care: $300/mo. (includes 2x daily feeding, health checks, blanketing)

Medical Board/Lay-Up/Rehab

Hurt or sick horse? Don't have a stall or ability to care for your horse in its recovery? Contact us and let us give you a quote for all of that work to be done here! Lots of references!

Equine Transportation

Equine transportation also includes emergency transports. Our driver, Andrea, has over 15 years professional experience including hauling many different types of livestock. Andrea has tons of experience and will have the knowledge and patience to load your horse. With her training in Large Animal Emergency Rescue, you can be confident in knowing that if there are any problems during transport your horses will be in the best of care that you could find in a transporter.

Our rig: 2010 Dodge, 3500 Cummins Diesel, Camera monitoring system hooked to a 2009 Featherlite 3 horse slant OR a bumper pull single box stall trailer (safe for emergencies).

Pet Sitting

We offer Pet sitting privately from Rolling Hills Farm L.L.C.

Small Animal Pet Sitting:

We have you animals come to us! No kennels here! Everyone loves a visit to the "Farm"!

Day = 24 hours of care (over night) as well as half days (no night included):

Large Dogs: $25 / day, $15 / half day

Small Dogs: $20 / day, $10 / half day

Puppies (not house broke) $50/day, $40/ half day.

Cats: $15 / day, $10 / half day
